Master of Public Health

The Master of Public Health (MPH) study program at the Faculty of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing, Gadjah Mada University, has been in operation since 1982. It started with one concentration (Public Health Science) and has since expanded to seven concentrations.
The performance of the MPH program has shown rapid development, both in academic terms and the quality of its education. This is evidenced by the “Excellent” accreditation (A), which has been awarded by the National Accreditation Board in 2000, 2005, 2013, 2018, and 2023 (LAM-PTKes).

Public Health Symposium

The Public Health Symposium (UGM PHS) is a flagship activity of the Master of Public Health (MPH) program in the form of a regular conference held every semester.

The goal of this event is to train students in presenting ideas and innovations in public health programs. Students’ skills in advocating for programs are expected to improve through participation in the UGM PHS.

Additionally, ideas and innovations from public health practitioners working in various regions across Indonesia can be shared through the UGM PHS.

Experts in the field of Public Health, both nationally and internationally, are also invited to the UGM PHS to provide new knowledge for students and public health practitioners participating in the conference.
